We are and remain the ZMF: a music festival, a place for encounters, and since 1983 an integral part of Freiburgโs cultural scene. A meeting point for young and old, for students, hippies, families, and businesspeople โ everyone is welcome here and finds something to enjoy. We are committed to preserving and nurturing this diversity, vibrancy, and openness.
But ZMF is also part of this world and must follow the rules of the game โ and cope with rising costs for things like technical equipment, tents, and artist fees. To ensure the festivalโs future and to keep improving it year after year, we urgently need support from sponsors in addition to ticket sales.
