In current times, where the focus is set on things that separate us and peace and freedom are threatened, we want to be a counterpoint: Through culture and music we want to break down barriers and bring people from both sides of the Rhein together.
Starting at 5:30 pm there will be a colorful program in spirit of the french-german friendship. One can watch, listen, interact and make new connections to France.
Also joining will be music groups, from Freiburgs oldest partner-city Besançon as well as from the city Mulhouse, with which Freiburg has cultivated a city-friendship for many years. Various artists, clubs and organisations will be engaging in the exchange between France and Freiburg.
In that sense: Vive la France à Fribourg !
The Program for the French Day:
