Performing Arts 2025

What would our action program and the festival atmosphere be without our performing artists? They really get the festival going, greet our visitors on the stage right at the entrance and give them a humorous end to the evening on their way home. For 19 days, it’s all happening on the ZMF stage! And this is what awaits you this year:

The Great Wolynski

The Great Wolynski | July 16th – July 19th

Wolynski is skillful and crazy artist who enchants his audience with his witty manner, audience interaction and tricks.
With just a few words, he creates a comedy show for all audiences and all ages.
He is not only a brilliant clown, but also an exquisite one-man band and his instrument! Giant bicycle horns! with which he transforms his show from time to time into a hilarious folk festival.

Manshula Circo

Manshula Circo | July 20th – 23rd July

A cake, a candle, a gift, dancing with strangers and lots of hula hoops. A show that enchants with sympathy and surprises. None of this would be possible without her most important helpers – the audience. With their help, she wants to achieve her only goal for the show: to put a smile on everyone’s face! Parranda is a show that reminds us how important it is to celebrate life, because there is always something to celebrate.

Andy Snatch

Andy Snatch | July 24th – July 27th

Andy Snatch has been leading an exciting life on the streets of Europe for fifteen years. Rained on in Amsterdam, scorched by the sun in Seville, in the mud and on big stages, Andy has always proved to his audiences that passion is the driving force behind looking beautiful and stupid.
Yet Andy Snatch is very British and he is a performer who can laugh at life, people, situations and most of all himself! He juggles hot and sharp objects, constantly plays with his audience’s attention and breaks the laws of gravity.

Modular Akrobatik

Modular Akrobatik | July 28th – July 29th

Of highs and lows, lightness and weight – their debut program is as multifaceted as the artists of the artistic group MODULAR. The artists Alex Hanisch, Anastasia Shilyna and Sandrina La Loba use traditional circus arts on the vertical rope, aerial ring and hula hoops to bring a wide variety of performances to the stage through their contemporary interpretation. Moments of everyday life are turned upside down and experienced anew before the eyes of the audience, so that the seemingly familiar can be discovered from new angles in the air and while dancing with flying hoops. A sensitive compromise of timeless circus art and modern artistry tells stories of encounters, joie de vivre and all the things that remain unsaid.

Circ' Onirico

Circ’ Onirico | July 30th – August 1st

“EX!T” is a circus show for the whole family that subtly addresses the dangers of excessive control and the desire to free ourselves from this prison in sharp-edged boxes-boxes that we should round off or sometimes even break.
Between trapeze, vertical scarf, mime, clown, magic and other
circus disciplines, Circ’Onirico takes us inside an antique store and its
mannequins attempting a daring escape.

Los Diabolos Magicos

Los Diabolos Magicos | August 2nd

Los Diabolos Magicos present a spectacular show with their talent to stage their shining diabolos.
Over the years Los Diabolos Magicos have had many ups and downs, tried a lot, threw a lot away, learned everything they could from the older students and as soon as they were big enough they started to teach the younger ones everything we could.
Even though some of them are already out of the school circus and others are still in the middle of it, one thing continues to unite them. The love of the circus. The joy of putting on a show, delivering a breathtaking performance to the audience and hearing a resounding applause and looking into astonished faces – and of course the joy of playing the diabolo.

Deep Purple Dance Collective

Deep Purple Dance Collective | August 3rd

The Freiburg group Deep Purple Dance Collective invites you to experience a fascinating dance journey along the ancient Silk Road on the ZMF stage.

Inspired by elements of flamenco, North African folklore and belly dance, the FCBD© style celebrates the beauty and strength of women, combines tradition with modern expressiveness and the joy of dancing together.

Let yourself be carried away by impressive costumes, music from 1001 nights and a very special kind of oriental dance.

Let yourself be enchanted by the performing artists at the 41st Zelt-Musik-Festival and enjoy an unforgettable festival summer 2025!
